"Over the Winter months and in to Spring the crew has been hard at work. They have toured around Europe, built a fresh new studio and at the same time a fresh album for 2015. Elevate EP. Hot on the tail of their first EP, Around the World, the crew’s musical evolution is instantly audible. Shumba Youth and Shaun Micheal’s vocals animatedly interact with each other creating a contagious energy. Their lyricism has been turned up several levels and been given a strong platform on which to present, by way of Dennis Kuhn’s dynamic instrumentals.



Elevate EP, moves seamlessly from reggae roots to vibrant dancehall riddims, at times stirred up with influences from UK bass culture, rock & r'n'b. The vocalists express their African & Afro-Caribean roots in the vibes they build, sending out powerful, relevant messages along side positive feel good tracks that we have come to expect from the crew.
