About this Event

We Broke Free are very proud to present a FREE SHOW at 60 Million Postcards featuring:

Lovestarrs

Introducing Lovestarrs! Meet Sarah and Hamish, the brother and sister duo who grew up listening to their parents record collection, including Tears for Fears, Prince and Cyndi Lauper.

Inspired by pop hooks, honest lyrics, drum machines and funkylicious bass lines, Lovestarrs create their very own unique brand of pop, living each day by the Lovestarr motto 'follow your heart and aim for the stars'

Support from

Frankie Knight

Her live show mixes homemade tropical samples, blissed out vocal loops, psychedelic synths, head-bopping trip-hop beats with hooks that will be swimming round your head for days. She made an impressive entrance to the live circuit with her 2nd live show supporting Mercury prize winners, Young Fathers and has since expanded her band, now available to play as a three piece with live drums and bass, but also as her original solo electro set up (See link below).

Her debut EP and reworking of Orange Juice - Rip it Up gained the support of 6Music, BBC Introducing, NTS Radio, Envolvent Ràdio, and saw her reach the long list of Glastonbury’s emerging talent competition. This next release it set to reach new heights with Miss Knight's exploration of fresh calipso soundscapes winning over audiences across the UK.
