About this Event

We’re incredibly excited to introduce Footnote, a new night arriving on the Oxford scene focused simply on the music. We’ll be inviting down the most interesting and impressive selectors to provide you with great sounds. Specializing in the best of house, techno and electro, we promise to keep you jacking from start to finish.



For the launch night we’re bringing down Tasker, a deep digger and a stalwart of the London scene for over 5 years. If the name’s not familiar to you, the face will be; Tasker was one of the first members of Boiler Room, regularly warming up some of the biggest DJs to grace the platform, honing and presenting his eclectic selection week in week out.



Since then he’s gone from strength to strength, as one third of the much-loved London party ‘Principals’, with Drakeford and Bradley Zero, and more recently as head honcho of ‘Whities’, a sub label of Young Turks responsible for releasing some of the freshest, most out there dance music of the past few years, eschewing conventions while always managing to keep one foot in the club.



With a stint behind the counter at Phonica Records under his belt and 88 Transition, his weekly show on NTS, Tasker knows how to throw a party and we can’t wait to have him down.
