KLIK returns for the 5th Birthday and teams up with Huxleys label No Ideas Original.



Huxley brings his label alongside fellow artist Pierre Codarin and special guest Pawsa. Join us for the 5th year celebration of all things KLIK, residents Harrison Edwards, Reece Brett, Tom Laidlaw, Jack Baker and Reiss Gridley also join the bill.



As its our birthday expect something extra we will be going the extra mile for one of our best line ups this year.......

Full decor and unique sound for this one KLIK will lay down the Soundtrack for another cosmic night, transforming Talk nightclub into a perfect setting for what we do.



HUXLEY



It is fair to say that, in 2016, Huxley has fully arrived. Still young but with experiences in the booth and studio well beyond his years, he has a fine array of tools at his disposal. Over the last seven plus years, the friendly character has excelled at many different styles, often ahead of the curve. He does well swung drums as well as bass, main room house and deeper, musically accomplished offerings that stir real emotion.



Proof of that lies in his varied and vital discography. Coming on labels like Hypercolour, Tsuba and 20: 20 Vision, it includes many club hits and plenty of handy DJ weapons, but also an ambitious and widescreen debut album on Aus Music, which has become a regular home. Always refusing to stay in one sonic niche for too long, Huxley—whether working solo or with close friends like Sam Russo or Ethyl—switches up his sound, tries new things and colours outside the lines with every new outing. Not afraid of a big hook or slaying bassline, he is an artist who unites a variety of sounds, styles and scenes with ease, and always proves as fun as he is well informed.



As a DJ, Huxley is someone as comfortable headlining a vast festival stage as he is holding down a small and sweaty basement. He does so from Africa to Australia and is the sort of selector who always delivers a slick, high impact dose of the good stuff. Such is his definitive sense of taste that he continues to lead from the front on his own Rinse FM show. It is there he welcomes exciting guests such as And.ID, Truncate and Vin Sol, and there that you get a wider window into his musical world.



The next project on his horizon is No Idea's Original, an outlet for a wide range of house and techno sounds from Huxley and peers. It will also develop into a party series that will showcase the same sort of fad free, impactful club music that has made Huxley the much loved headline maker he is.



PAWSA



PAWSA is a name that has consistently emerged from the burgeoning house and techno scene in recent times. The London-based producer kickstarted his remarkable rise with a bonafide EP on the renowned Lost Records in 2014. The appropriately named 'Pilot’, put a marker down both on Beatport and in the dance community which has provided the basis for further success more recently.



Picking up steam, PAWSA received the firm backing of industry stalwarts Green Velvet and Nicole Moudaber who both locked down EP's from the innovative producer on Relief Records and Mood Records respectively. Further to that, he can also call upon the likes of Adam Beyer and Pan-Pot as staunch supporters. These early successes further cementing the feeling that PAWSA is a producer destined to make a lasting impact.



In 2015, PAWSA co-founded Solid Grooves Records alongside Michael Bibi and with the underlying motif of "let the music do the talking”, the label provided a firm base for PAWSA's latest EP ‘Stage Two’. The sister company to the much vaunted Solid Grooves club night with regular happenings in London, Ibiza and Berlin, the label has been an important string to the bow of PAWSA.



PAWSA's signature sound - inventive tech house with an old school vibe - is decisively made for the dance-floor. As a DJ he lays down carefully curated and atmospheric sets. The producer identifies with also being a DJ in the most natural, traditional sense: he makes music which he can play out and share with a crowd. PAWSA regularly performs at esteemed clubs around Europe and held a much talked about residency in Sankeys Ibiza throughout 2015.



Alongside all of this, PAWSA also turns his own magical and much loved ‘PAWSA's Mixtape Series’ and some top weekly tips for producers and DJs alike via his ‘Groover Essentials’ series. PAWSA is one DJ who is letting quality records do all the talking and at the outset of 2015, few are coming close to his consistency and indisputable calibre of his productions. With plenty more planned for 2016 and beyond, PAWSA and his team have a lot in store to extend their impact on the musical

landscape.



PIERRE CODARIN



Pierre Codarin launched his selt-titled label in 2016 with good support from the industries peers



Pierre Codarin has been hitting the underground circuit for the past few years releasing material on respected labels and has seen him pick up support from a broad selection of DJ’s such as Rolando, Raresh, Magda, Apollonia, Laurent Garnier, Radio Slave, Groove Armada, Marcel Dettmann, DVS1 to name a few. His selt-titled label was launched at the beginning of 2016 as has seen heady plays from the industries peers. The release PC001 sold out in just a few months with the follow ups PC002 and PC003 not far behind for a 2016 release. A 808 enthusiast and hard wear faithful, Pierre brings a very raw and rich sound in both his productions and dj sets alongside a very in depth knowledge of record selection..
