Reggae Society's back in Cosies! Expect the usual: top-raw roots, steppers and dub, flaming live trumpet and positive vibes, as well as mic-work from our very special guest - the legendary micman, Ras Addis.

A veteran micman who's bought conscious lyrics to soundsystems across the country, Addis has even recorded with Dubkasm and Ishan Sound - have a listen below. He'll be holidng the mic at Reggae Society, as well as laying down killer roots selection of his own.

KALEB

The man who started Reggae Society himself, Selector Kaleb can be found at Reggae nights all over Bristol, alwasy bringing an eclectic, cross-genre mix.



BRISTOL REGGAE SOCIETY

For eleven years Bristol's society of reggae had been organising dances of all shapes and flavours and apearing at a mash up of events. But it all comes back to Cosies. BRS's own MR BIRD will be bringing that live horns fire.



The more experienced lions out there will notice that Reggae Society isn't falling on the usual last-Thursday-of-the-month. We know, its wierd. Don't worry: this session will be just as rootikal, and from January we'll be back to the last Thursday of the month and harmony will be restored to the universe.
