And it’s far from over yet.. Read on for full biog of a career spanning over 30 years so far and still going strong..

Justin Harris’ career started out in the early days of House Music beginning in warehouses, fields and occasionally clubs of the UK in the late 80's. Alongside such luminaries as DIY Sound System, Mr. C, Eddie Richards, Colin Dale, Nigel Casey (House of 909) and a host of other legendary DJ's and sound systems, Justin played a substantial part in shaping the scene into the global force it is now.. At around 1995, Harris moved to London from Bournemouth to expand his horizons. At a dark and deep Warehouse party in East London he literally tripped over Luke Solomon and after a garbled conversation the possibility of Freaks was born. Studio’s were booked! This was to be the start of a 20 year partnership, so far leading to the creation of four albums and well over 100 EP's including remixes for artists such as Matthew Herbert, Derrick Carter, Greenskeepers, Markus Nikolai, Tiefschwarz, Matt Tolfrey, Dave Aju, Gene Farris & Sonny Fodera, Soft Cell, Damon Albarn & the list goes on …They've also had releases on esteemed labels Hot Creations, Visionquest, Circus Recordings, Crosstown Rebels, Leftroom, Playhouse, Perlon, Silver Network and Rebirth amongst others. Over the years their works have been hailed as creative landmarks in house music and electronic music production, bending people’s perceptions and pushing the boundaries. Freaks last album 'Psych' on Rebirth Records was a culmination of eight years work which had amazing reviews and made DJ Mag's Album of the month. This year they released an EP of lost works on the wonderful Circus Company called Stuff We Forgot to critical acclaim. Next out from Freaks is a brand new EP on the unstoppable Eat's Everything's label Edible with a remix from Mike Dunn on the cards. Probably most exciting of all is the fact that last year, Justin and Luke also decided to relaunch Music For Freaks, the record label that was the platform for so much great music in the past. Releases include new cuts of much of the original Freaks material and other catalogue gems remixed by Ricardo Villalobos, Djebali, Soulclap, Dave Aju, Honey Dijon, Kruse & Nuernberg, Dan X, House Of Warez, Wolf & Lamb and Tuff City Kids. This year they have also released original EP's from Dave Aju, Bertha (Diz Washington) and Jozif, with forthcoming EP's from Mr Top Hat, Wyatt Agard & Nick Mauer, and Lil Mark & Mikey Velasquez and that's just this year. Justin has also forged a successful solo career releasing numerous EP's for labels such as Apollo Records, I'm A House Gangster, O'black Records, Classic Recordings, Viva, Natural Rhythm Something Different, Paper Recordings, Pack Up And Dance, Eclectic Avenue Records (EAR) and Sculpture Records. He's also remixed for a string of labels including Djebali, Natural Rhythm, Secret Life, Vizual, Myna Music, Homecoming, Something Different, Bulletdodge,, Seamless, Punks, Sculpture, Don't Be Afraid and DotBleep Recordings. Most recently he's released a new EP on Apollo Records, remixes of Robert Owens and Dirty Sole and released a second EP for I'm A House Gangster released in October….

DJ'ing is a massive part of what Justin does and is, in his own words, the foundation and inspiration for all the music he makes… His DJ career has seen him play literally thousands of parties at venues around the world including Fabric (UK), Fuse (Brussels), Rex (Paris), Skanssen (Oslo), Lolita (Barcelona), Robert Johnson (Frankfurt), Watergate (Berlin), Panorama Bar (Berlin), Back To Basics (Leeds,UK), Sankeys (Manchester-UK), Homelands Festival UK, The Glade Festival, Boardmasters Festival, Shindig Festival, Cafe Del Mar (Ibiza), Pacha (Ibiza),Space (Ibiza) and Ibiza Rocks House At Pikes Hotel with many international tours in America, Australia, South East Asia and Eastern Europe under his belt…Last summer Justin's EP on I'm A House Gangster 'Random Jazz' had massive success and was featured by Pete Tong on his Friday show on radio1. Justin also had the honour of recording the After Hours Mix for Tong on Radio1 in April, a highlight in any DJ's career. Now living on the white island of Ibiza, Justin has a weekly regular live Music For Freaks Radio show on Ibiza Sonica Radio, and has played gigs at Zoo Project, Cafe Del Mar (Music For Freaks residency), Space, Pacha and not forgetting Justin's residency at the helm of the legendary Music For Freaks parties, which have been lifting the roof off of Pikes Ibiza once all season. This year's residency started in May with DJ's guests through the summer including Dan Ghenacia, Honey Dijon, Dave Aju, Mr. Top Hat, Jozif, Luke Solomon (with Justin as Freaks), Lil Mark, Jonny Rock and a surprise appearance from DJ SNEAK at the closing. Forthcoming are more amazing releases on Music For Freaks and a Music Freaks party tour spanning the globe starting in Berlin at the start of the year.
