About this Event

What better way to celebrate Xmas than by bringing our friends together under one roof, to catch up, reminisce and make plans for 2017.

Taking place at Surya in Kings Cross, the market and music will be found in the downstairs hall.

The fully equipped bar on the ground floor will be serving refreshments and bar snacks throughout the day.

Should you be in need of a full on meal, there’s plenty of restaurants in the area as well.



--Longboard Comp--

We have access to the nearby basketball court where Cristina “Ballerignar” will be running some fun and games for your fix of the action, weather allowing of course.



We have several fun games taking place during the event, OUTDOOR GAMES you can play in teams of up to 4 people, with a maximum of 5 teams.



THE INDOOR GAME can be entered as an individual.



We also have an Instargram competition that anyone can play, no team needed.

Top 3 photos will be chosen and announced at 7PM before the music starts.



OUTDOOR GAMES 1-3PM

Where: Basketball court down the road.

Needed: Helmet



-Relay race-

Using just one board, each team will race to complete 8 lengths of the basketball court.

After 2 lengths, the rider gives the board to the next team member.

Points are decided in order of completion.



-Human bowling-

Thanks to wheels and a helmet, each rider in a team becomes a bowling ball and has to be thrown towards slalom cones which act as bowling pins.

The more pins knocked over the better, but no cheating and throwing your arms around ;)

-Obstacle course-

You'll need LONGboard for this one, each time has to stand on just one board and work together to get around the obstacles.

Points will be given for: Speed, Efficiency, ingenuity for getting over obstacles.

Points will be taken for: Riders falling off :)



INDOOR GAME IN CASE OF RAIN



-Tuck and Pick-

From a tucking position, each rider has to pick up a paper bag using just their teeth.

The bag gets shorter as the riders struggle to pick and we're left with a clear (yogatastic) winner.



--Art + Longboard Market--

Just in time to snag yourself or friends some quality gifts for Xmas, we’ll have the following homies representing their wares for you.



The market will be open from 12:00 Noon until 18:30

From 18:30 to 19:00 the downstairs hall will be closed to allow the brands to pack up for the day.

It will re-open for a raffle and live music at 19:00



Banjo board co.

Nottingham based longboard builders will be showcasing some hot wood!



Tempocide Illustrations

Pixels + doodle maestro Ben Williams will have choice prints available on the day.
