WBF presents Stevie Parker & Jazz Morley

17/02/2017

About this Event

We Broke Free are proud to present:

Stevie Parker

Bristol-based Stevie Parker delivers a unique take on ambient electronic pop.

Her Debut single ‘Never Be’ is beautifully composed, flaunting display of keys/synths, drums and guitar lines that seamlessly merge together before shimmering to a whole new level with Parker’s breath taking vocal harmonies.

It has the uncanny spine shivering qualities that the XX coined on their self-titled record. Pointing comparisons of Hannah Reid (London Grammar), Georgia Notts (Broods) but Parker’s dynamic range and sincere lyricism makes her one to watch out for.

Jazz Morley

Nylon Magazine - "Reminiscent of soulful singers like Foy Vance and Låpsley, Morley is one artist you shouldn’t have to go through life without listening to."

Elle Magazine - "We fell in love with Jazz Morley's smooth-as-silk voice...You're going to want to add the track [Take Me Down] to all your summer playlists immediately"

Time Out London - "Haunting and soulful singer songwriter"

Bit Candy - "Jazz Morley has this Florence Welch vibe going on, but totally rides on her own wave of coolness. Though I fairly recently discovered her I feel like I’ve known her for a lifetime because her music is me, her music is you, her music is a little piece of everyone one of us. This is magic right here."
