On May 26th FREEQ is hosting it's own street party, and it only seemed fitting to invite along the purveyors of Sunday clubbing...After what seems like only a few months ago when RETOX SUNDAYS were chucking out tasty beats and heavy basslines of the freshest sound around in small bars in and around Kent for just a small minority of people who only knew about the party of just through word of mouth..Now,with a whole year and a lot more venues under our belt it is now time for some birthday celebrations and it only seemed right to do this the only way we know how..with all our friends,new and old,friends of friends,followers,music lovers and ravers alike, all together at the chosen venue we thought fitted the occasion best,the infamous Source Bar alley and with a line up fit for a king stretched across three arenas for a 16 hour day/night party! What a way to kickstart your summer..Deep and underground ALL DAY LONG!

Bonding over a bloody burger at the start of 2012 Waze & Odyssey have, in just twelve months, gone from little more than an anonymous Soundcloud account to be one of the most exciting, and talked about, new dance music acts around, uniting house, garage and disco heads alike. Along the way Waze & Odyssey have released several critically acclaimed singles for the likes of Wolf Music, Disco Bloodbath and Throne of Blood, remixed acts such as Disclosure and T.E.E.D., DJ’ed all around the world and become a regular feature in the shows of DJs such as Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Skream & Benga, and club DJs from Starslinger, to Duke Dumont to Horse Meat Disco.

Making an instant impression, their 2nd single, C’Mon (Body Work Records), was picked as a DJ Mag ‘Killer Single of the Month’ and saw them profiled in Clash Magazine and on sites such as XLR8R and Datatransmission. Releases on labels such as More Music and Sccucci Manucci quickly followed with features in Mixmag and ‘Sup Magazine cementing their position as ones to watch.

Championed by underground house heroes Bicep, their single ‘Love That Burns (Hot Enough)’ became one of the biggest tracks of 2012’s festival season, and before long DJs from all corners of clubland were supporting the duo, from Eats Everything rocking the Waze & Odyssey remix of TEED's 'Your Love’ to Skream dropping their R Kelly bootleg to a packed out Warehouse Project in Manchester.

Before the year was out the duo had gone on to top the Juno best seller charts, been invited onto Pete Tong’s show for ’15 Minutes of Fame’, launched their own label, W&O Street Tracks, to work with artists such as Ejeca and Citizen, be nominated for ‘Best Breakthrough Act’ at DJ Mag’s annual ‘Best of British Awards’ and finally cap the year with a set at Berlin’s world famous Panorama Bar.

Heading into 2013 things show no sign of slowing down. Kicking off the year with a release on House legend Kerri Chandler’s MadTech Records, the pair have already remixed Compuphonic for Get Physical, Ali Love for Crosstown Rebels and Duke Dumont’s massive ‘Need U 100%’, and have releases lined up on labels such as Dirt Crew (Berlin) and Lets Play House (NYC), whilst their own W&O Street Tracks imprint goes from strength to strength.

Having already clocked up visits to Bruxelles (playing alongside Simian Mobile Disco and Miguel Campbell) and Dublin this year, Waze & Odyssey’s DJ diary is full up with a return to Panorama Bar in April scheduled alongside a set at the opening night of Sankey’s in Ibiza in May, not to mention gigs confirmed in Glasgow (The Arches), Hamburg (Mondoo), Manchester (Sankeys) and many more.

With a show on Dalston’s pioneering NTS Radio, guest appearances on RINSE FM (alongside T.Williams) and a forthcoming guest mix (with Jackmaster) on Pete Tong’s Radio 1 show, Waze & Odyssey just keep doing their own thing and taking all of clubland along with them for the ride.

Since moving to UK shores as a 14 year old, his fascination with electronic music has never waned having initially been infected by its futuristic lure at an underground party back in 1991. Taking formative influences from Detroit and Chicago masters like Kenny Dope, Danny Tenaglia, Derrick May, DJ Sneak and Carl Craig, a pure and unadulterated house sound has always been Darius’ pre-occupation in place of passing fads or zeitgeist defining trends.

Music. are three words that define the style and sound of Darius Syrossian, yet also represent the principles by which he has successfully made his name as a DJ, producer, label boss and radio host at a global level. He is one of the core artists of Steve Lawler's VIVa family and has ticked off every major club and festival in an extensive touring schedule; his production skills have lead to acclaim with labels such as Get Physical, Jackathon compilation, Hot Creations, VIVa MUSiC, OFF Recordings, Magnetic, Area Remote, 8bit & many more

In 2012 DJ MAG awarded Darius Syrossian with a nomination for 'BEST OF BRITISH, BREAKTHROUGH PRODUCER AWARD' great recognistion for his work in 2012, but Darius has dedicated more than 15 years to legendary UK vinyl record shops Global Beat and Crash Records, Darius wears his passion for the music on every part of his existence, as only people who do it for the love of the music are able to. Having seen every fad and trend come and then quickly go in the electronic scene, yet never having wavered from his devotion to the groove, its with plenty of conviction that Darius' huge musical knowledge and vast vinyl collection allows him a unique versatility. A DJ in the truest sense, no matter whether that be abyss-deep house or following Detroit techno or playing Detroit techno, the groove will always be there, unwavering as the emblem of his style.

Mexican born Miguel Puente, and Guatemalan born Sishi Rosch can only be put into one word, Gangsta. Both hatched under Barcelona based Digital Delight, and its up and coming sister label Sultry Vibes. When in the studio, these two are influenced by late 1980's electronic music. Cyphering monstrous bass-lines, hip-hop vocals, and transforming it into futuristic soul. Behind the decks, Puente & Rosch are pure magic. stripping dancefloors of what used to be, and revolutionizing what is envisioned to them in the now.

Music is in the blood of Raffaele Calza, aka Raffa FL, as from a young age his musician father had an influence on his life. Raffa learnt to understand and perform music, and a natural progression came to DJ’ing at the tender age of just 14.



Fast forward a few years, and 2012 most certainly belongs to Raffa. He has releases set to launch on labels including Nurvous Records, Say Ahh! Records, Digi...tal Delight and Swink Music, as well as releases on his own masterminded label ‘Tools and Stuff’ with DJ friends Dirty Culture. He has also been newly signed to underground UK label Love Not Money Records.



February sees Raffa step up his game with eagerly anticipated EP ‘Hot For You’ on Electronique. The EP includes remixes by emerging UK talents Ashley Wild and Hot Since 82, Mexican house sleuths Climbers and French new kid Julien Sandre. All provide a diverse slant on the original charming work of this emerging Veronese talent.



Support has already been given for the track across the world, by well respected DJ’s such as Laura Jones, Waifs & Strays, Wildkats, Droog and Russ Yallop.



Later this year Raffa will also release his remix of the classic Kim English track ‘Nitelife’, on Nurvous Records. He also has many other projects in the pipeline, continually pushing to produce quality house music, designed for lovers of the sound.

Moonharbour's latest signing East End Dubs is an emerging talent to the dark and deep production scene and has made a statement with his raw dubby unique sound. Setting up his own label in 2012 and releasing his own productions he was soon snapped up by numerous Label bosses, and has forthcoming EP’s on Dogmatik Records, Little Helpers, Metroline Limited & Act Natural Records… He is heavily supported by the London’s famous Sunday party Fuse and the likes of tINI, Enzo Siragusa and Dj W!ld. His EP produced together with Chris Lattner will be out on 2013 and he is set to have a big year ahead. He is already booked to play in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Spain and his home town London. And of course, all this being topped off by making his Manchester debut for us this Easter at Walkthehorse!
