We Broke Free are proud to present Spring King plus support from LEECHES



- Spring King -

Spring King are one of the UK’s most exciting new bands, no question, and we’re very excited to welcome them to 60 Million Postcards as part of We Broke Free!

Riotous and ramshackle, Manchester's Spring King deliver a sharp burst of unadulterated fun with the camaraderie of a close knit gang and the chaos of early era Mystery Jets. Lead by producer turned front-man, drummer Tarek Musa, they pack their songs with scrappy blasts of joyous guitars and hooks that rip through the guttural fuzz.

Already picking up fans around the world off the back of several searing sets at last year's SXSW festival they were the first song played by Zane Lowe on his debut Beats 1 radio show

With the bouncing scuzz of debut album 'Tell Me If You Like To' launching them to new heights, this promising young band pack a killer punch live.



- LEECHES -

After ripping through one of the best sets we’ve ever seen in The Old Fire Station at the end of January, we had to ask them to come back and support Spring King in 60MPC.

Leeches are a bunch of desperate bubbly individuals who've been hurt before and won't suffer fools gladly. Interests include embroidery, nights in by the fire, long walks and debauchery. GSOH, BYOB, ETC.

Formed in the depths of Dorset in the pre summer haze of 2016, LEECHES are bringing infectious pop hooks to fuzzy alt-rock - a match made in heaven some might say. Their debut single was released in early October 2016, and rumour has it they are on the cusp of releasing a 4 track EP before the end of the year. Who knows...they certainly don't.
