RAT BOY is set to take his anarchic live show on tour for his biggest headline tour to date. The gigs, listed below, will surely see of the most riotous scenes that London’s famous Roundhouse has ever seen. The announcement comes as RAT BOY prepares to release his first new material of the year.
RAT BOY will play:

28th – Stoke, Sugarmill
29th – Oxford, O2 Academy 1
May
1st – Norwich, Waterfront
2nd – Birmingham, O2 Institute 1

Tickets for all shows go on general sale from 9am on Friday February 3rd. Spring King support at London and Manchester, with support for the remaining shows to be confirmed soon.
Even ahead of the release of his debut album, RAT BOY has proved impossible to pigeonhole – his charismatic and often narrative lyrics being the constant in a sound that encompasses hip-hop, indie, punk, big beat, and electro-pop. Always eager to discover disparate new influences, his previous EP ‘Get Over It’ was further inspired by lost cuts from the worlds of USSR funk and retro Japanese folk.
In addition to his music, RAT BOY’s skills extend into other disciplines including artwork, video production, prop design and fashion. His clothing line SCUM mixes 70s gangster chic with in vogue skatewear, and his creations have been snapped up by fans who have stayed behind after gigs to buy his limited edition designs.
RAT BOY has just been nominated for Best Music Video for ‘Get Over It’ at the NME Awards. Co-directed with his friend Tommy D, the DIY video also features a car built by RAT BOY’s dad.
