Continuing our theme of no-holds-barred-soul music, we're back in the cool as you like surrounds of our favourite L1 haunt and It's our pleasure to invite the head man at Super Disco Edits, Mr Russell Paine to play records with us. Russell aka DJ Sigher, is part of the legendary hip-hop crew Gutter Snypes and now ply's his trade unearthing never before released soul gems to embelish the collections of soul fans worldwide. One of Super Disco Edits' most notorious releases was last years cut Finally Made It Home from the legendary Arnold Blair which became an instant collectors item. As well as this, Super Disco Edits has also put out records by Willie Tee, James Reese & The Progressions and Ebony Diamonds. Don't fret Flanny, Ryan Wilson & I will also be there to put our usual stamp on proceedings. So with a crew as strong as that assembled in our favourite watering hole in the city, there's only one place to spend your bank holiday Sunday and that's at Tuff Love Soul Club. For those who haven't been to Buyers Club before, it's a place in the heart of L1 - housed in the historic shell of the legendary Flying Picket on Hardman Street - designed and created by some of the the cities most consumate curators. Every detail of food, drink and music is expertly deliberated. The ideal place for folk who care about what they eat, drink & listen to.
