Backwater Roll Blues Band are a powerful high energy harmonica driven 6 piece blues band based in Southampton.



Members of the band have previously opened up for major acts

like Eric Claption, The Hoax, Jon Amor, Well Hung Hear, Aynsley Lister, Deborah Bonham, Michael Katon, Popa Chubby, Matt Schofield, Oli Brown, Ian Siegal and The Nimmo Brothers.



The bands recent live album “ Backwater Roll – LIVE at the Platform” has had a huge amount of radio play since the release in November 2014 including twice on Radio Solent. The album was placed in IBBA’s Top 25 for 3 months running with a best spot of number 5 in its first month of release.



In addition to their list of accolades and acheivements, the band has also recently produced a SELL OUT fundraising gig for a little girl with Spina Bifida and raised over £7,500.



Backwater Roll Blues Band consists of Miff Smith (Harmonica & Vocals), Deano Matthias (Guitar), Louis Matthias (Guitar), Barry Pethers (Bass), Richard Stickler (Keys) and Chris Pope (Percussion).
