CherAnn & Co. presents an afternoon of musical theatre at the Phoenix Artist Club, accompanied by James Cleeve (MD for Yank! The Musical at Charing Cross Theatre, 2017). Enjoy music from American Contemporary musicals & songwriters from Jason Robert Brown, Alan Menken, Stephen Schwartz, Sara Bareilles & more.

CHERANN THORKILSEN is an actress/singer from Vancouver, Canada who moved to London in 2014 to pursue her passion in musical theatre. She produced her own solo cabaret (titled ‘Journey to the Past’) at The Pheasantry in 2016 alongside special guests who have performed in The West End and internationally. CherAnn is currently finishing a 1-year Acting & Musical Theatre diploma at The Dorset School of Acting, and she has worked with various industry professionals doing workshops in London. She was also a finalist in the 2016 Your Voice Competition held by award-winning composers Daniel & Laura Curtis, whom she will be working with later this year. CherAnn strives to reach her full potential as a performer to inspire others, and enjoys collaborating with others who share the same passion.



JAMES CLEEVE is an experienced Musical Director who is currently the MD for Yank! The Musical (Charing Cross Theatre) & for Pete ‘n’ Keely (Tristan Bates, Covent Garden). He has also been MD for various West End Cabarets, working with performers including Rachel Tucker, Wendi Peters, Mark Dugdale, Tiffany Graves, CJ Johnson, Daniel Robinson and Rebecca Scott.

JAMIE SCOTT-SMITH trained in Musical Theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Jamie's credits include: Crysale in 'The Sisterhood' (Leicester Square Theatre); Matt in 'The Smallest Story Ever Told' (King's Head Theatre); John in 'I Remember' (Battersea Arts Centre); 'Man 2' in 'I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change!' (Bridewell Theatre) as well as commercials for Sony Playstation and Microsoft. Jamie is the co-founder of Not Quite... Theatre Company and founder of West End Video.



KIMBERLEY BLISS gained her Masters in Musical Theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Last year she wrote and performed her own cabaret 'Sing Gal' at Ye Old Rose and Crown Theatre, a comedy about being a single female in the 21st century. Before this, Kimberley played 'Angie' in 'Our House' with Pimlico Opera and Suggs working with young offenders at ISIS Prison.



MICHAEL RIDEOUT trained as an Actor/Singer at East 15 Acting School. Since graduating, he has toured the country with Pyramid Productions, and worked alongside Nancy Sullivan and David Thaxton in Mismatched at The Old Red Lion Theatre. Michael was also a guest & performed with CherAnn at her solo cabaret 'Journey to the Past' at The Pheasantry in 2016 in aid to fundraise for her professional training & with proceeds towards Theatre MADTrust.
