...DARE TO BELIEVE: MYSTIC BILL + Sam Hall & 2257AD...
Super excited to announce this one.... from Miami via Chicago, Mystic Bill is coming to Bristol. Featuring support from two of the cities most knowledgeable selectors, this promises to be a journey deep into those late-night-grooves.

MYSTIC BILL:
Bill's introduction to the dance music scene began in Miami during the mid eighties. Armed with a fake ID, he would frequent local clubs and after hour spots in town. It wasn't until Bill landed a job at Flamingo Record Pool (run by Bill Kelly of WMC fame) that he discovered house music. Bill remembers when promos with house & acid mixes started arriving from Chicago. He felt so in tune with what was happening that he needed to be there. He finally made his move in 1988 after frequent visits. Shortly after he began to play clubs and lofts parties around the city. His first residency was at the “Shelter Nightclub” w/ Johnny Fiasco. He later moved to “The Vault” with Derrick Carter & Mark Farina, as well as “Normandy's” with Ralphie Rosario. He is currently a rotating resident at Panorama Bar in Berlin, and plays at select destinations around the world.
SAM HALL:
Sam is a 25 year old DJ from Bristol whose passion for electronic music, specifically House and Techno, has led him to develop a keen interest in old classic records whilst keeping up to date with modern day releases. His sets consist of a variety of these two genres with influences taken from late 80's and 90's records and DJ's from Chicago, Detroit and the UK.
As well as being behind the counter at Idle Hands, Sam has a weekly feature on the esteemed Stamp The Wax blog entitled 'Bin Digging: £1 Records. Most definitely a DJ to keep a close eye on, Sam will be playing at this years Dimensions Festival.

2257AD:
2257AD is part of the Rough Draft crew who've been throwing parties in Bristol for the past 3 years or so. He specialises in the mellower end of the spectrum, digging up obscure b-sides, dubs, ambient interludes and downtempo heaters to warm u up.
