Second date in the series and a change of scenery with two of our favourite artists – it’s been a long time coming, but that makes this announcement all the better!

We live for these moments and having the ability to push this type of line-up once again in Liverpool brings joy to our hearts. Having inviting over a wide array of hugely talented, favourite artists over the last three years we’ve been very lucky - but there are always a few DJs who remain on the invite list. However, patience is a virtue and the right time has come for this to go ahead.

To cap that off there’s one venue we wanted to look towards in the perfect moment – and use it to create something truly special that we’ll hopefully remember for a long time. So without further ado, MODU:LAR proudly presents…

Daytime: Kazimier Garden (2pm to 10pm)

Nighttime: Arts Club – Theatre (10pm to 4am)

Raresh

One of the original, spearheads of the Romanian movement; Raresh took flight from his home country but didn’t forget his roots and has been a champion and true idol of his peers, at the peak of his popularity for almost 10 years.

This guy has done it all, played all the best parties and continues to exude an undeniable passion for the music. You can see, hear and feel that in the way he performs each and every time, without fail.

Having come to the forefront of the underground scene through a stint with Cocoon and with brothers at arms Rhadoo and Petre Inspirescu and their seminal label [a:rpia:r] – Raresh last performed in the city in the very same space for Chibuku and again at Cocoon, Nation almost 10 years ago. A timeless artist that we’re more than privileged to invite back to join us once again.

Cap

There was only one thought in our mind about who to pair up with Raresh for this date to make for a special approach on this party. Cap is a fantastic artist – who’s at the top of the list of emerging Romanian artists and we’re really excited to see him work after catching a stand out grooving set at Mioritmic festival.

Typically known for a deep, melodic but driving style – Cap has some big music up his sleeve for the right occasion and will be a perfect partner for Raresh on this date.

Residents and Friends

Joining us for another set after his debut in May last Summer, Nicvius is Liverpool’s very own Romanian starlet and label owner who’s growing all the time as an artist, racking up plenty of exciting bookings at home and abroad. Original firm-member Scott Grant is pick of the bunch and still one of the best DJs that we know of, joining for one of his last parties before he goes onto pastures new over the other side of the world (for a short while only!). Nerram and Brennan are of course on the bill and mainstays of our core team with an unrivalled penchant for warm-up slots – other perfect candidates for this date.

Extended sets are the order of the day to get the full feel and range of both artists with a huge line-array club system and acoustically treated room to boot. We’ve all had some massively memorable nights in that theatre, but not in some time for most of us – so what a chance to get back to basics and tear the roof off for the best MODU:LAR yet.
