About this Event

The Life Journey was formed in 1999 when the four members first met, from then they began to perform small gigs and festivals. In 2005, they got signed by the largest record label in Mainland China. Three years on they released their first album Life Journey, which attracted wide attention across the nation and became one of the most popular indie rock bands among the younger generation.



In 2013 the band established their own record label and released the critically acclaimed album, I Don’t Sing Anymore, the same year. For more than a decade the band has made popular hit songs and received multiple awards for their achievements.



This summer, their 6th studio album Always Be There came out. Paying a visit to Abbey Road, where they will record their next single, the lads appear to be following in the footsteps of the Beatles.

As fans of the band and Liverpool FC supporters, The Lifejourney also wrote a song called Liverpool in their second album Wonderful Day - which is often used by sports shows in China.



First time performing in the Cavern is a childhood dream coming true for the boys: Liverpool is their holy ground and second home, John, Paul, George and Ringo together are the reasons the boys decided to start a band in the first place. With their passion and love towards the city and people in Liverpool, The Life Journey are looking forward to bringing the locals an unique experience of Chinese indie rock, and of course, classic Beatles sing-a-longs.
