Drug Store Romeos

BBC introducing new fave. DIY grunge garage at it's finest. Drug Store Romeos deliver hypnotising, dreamy and ethereal music that lingers between the liminal boundaries of dream pop, pysch and shoegaze. Like their influences, their woozy shoegazing focuses on creating a hypnagogic atmosphere and intensity, rather than throwing pocketfuls of effects pedals at the wall to see what sticks. The trio convey feelings and themes of melancholy and the Lynchian alienation of Twin Peaks, while echoing influences stemming from the past and present (including Galaxie 500, Broadcast and Drugdealer.
