I am very pleased to announc the Bristol launch of my book, 'Queer Deity, Sacred Slut - Thoughts in Process' by Al Head.



The evening will comprise of a 'Queer Fool' performance; followed by readings, songs and poems from the book and a Q & A session. There will be an opportunity to chat with the author and to buy a book (and get it signed!) on the night.



The Queer Fool: Fooling consists of purely improvised performance that inhabits the body, the mind and the spirit. This performance will pick up and play with themes from the book. The book contains a chapter that talks about The Queer Fool.



Cost: Donations on door to cover expenses. Books £10.

Access: there is one small step from the street to the pub, after that its all on the ground floor. Please get in touch with any access needs.



'QUEER DEITY, SACRED SLUT' invokes ancient and modern archetypal figures along with a revel of QUEER DEITIES. It explores themes of paganism, gender, sexuality, identity, healing and the ways we connect with each other and the earth. Its magical, embodied and radical prose is woven with poems and songs to form a rich tapestry imbued with the author's unique perspective.'



Al Head is a queer, gender-queer, polyamorous human. Que is a Queer Pagan, a Radical Faerie, an energy-worker and a devotee of Cernunnos. Que is a founder member of 'Queer Spirit Festival' and the creator of 'This Land Sex Magic' and 'The Queer Fool'. Que is an LGBTQ, disability and earth activist and works against all forms of oppression and for the healing of the land.
