North Wales Gigs are pleased to announce a joint showcase event alongside Self Made Records, an International yet independent record label based in Los Angeles, USA and Nottingham, UK.

It will be the first time Self Made Records have had an event in North Wales and North Wales Gigs are extremely grateful for the request to help organise this amazing gig.

Not only that, but the first 20 people through the door will get a FREE Self Made Records goody bag worth £50.

The headline act will be popular North Wales band Straight Jacket Legends.

Earlier in 2013 they recorded a song with American rapper MC Lars and this then lead to them supporting Wheatus in Holyhead.

Since then, they have recorded a song with Wheatus’ lead singer Brandon Brown which will feature on the bands debut album due for release in 2014.



Grey Goes Down are from Nottingham and come to Wrexham on the back of playing headline shows at the likes of the Birmingham O2 Academy.

North Hollywood Arts Magazine describe them as “Simplistic and powerful”.



L.A. band Symmetry will be releasing their debut album Frozen In Time in February and they will be having their launch party at the Leicester O2 academy.

One of the singles off the album ‘Take The Reigns’ was nominated in the category of Best Rock Track in this years Hollywood Music in Media Awards.



AmFx are a popular local and unsigned band formed in 2010.

They have recorded material in California and as well as playing up and down the UK, they have also played in Northern Germany.
