Part-A Presents Richy Ahmed (Hot Creations)

29/03/2014

About this Event

After kicking off 2014 with what was easily our best party to date we return to The Source on 29th March with an artist of equal caliber, Hot Creations finest – Richy Ahmed!

Richy is at the forefront of a new wave of British DJs, who are re-defining house music taking cues from disco, techno, funk and hip-hop.

The last two years has seen the rise of British house music thanks to a whole new generation of DJs and producers like Maya Jane Coles, Julio Bashmore, Eats Everything and Russ Yallop. In the midst of this explosion of homegrown talent and new musical innovation is Richy Ahmed, Paradise at DC10, Hot Natured resident and partner in the genre-defining Hot Creations label.

Richy has spent the last three summers cutting his teeth at some world’s best parties including, Circo Loco in Ibiza, Detroit’s Electronic Music Festival, Watergate in Berlin, Burning Man in the middle of the Nevada desert, Verboten in NYC, Glastonbury Festival's 40th Anniversary, Hideout Festival in Croatia and countless Get Lost and Hot Natured parties all over the world. Playing alongside some of house music’s biggest stars, Richy is the go-to sparring partner with the likes of Jamie Jones, Damian Lazarus, Clive Henry and Seth Troxler.

Recently voted Number 58 in the RA top 100 DJ Poll we can be sure that on the 29th he will without a doubt prove to Maidstone exactly why he earned this place!

Supporting Richy in the Main Room, as always, is resident Lee Brinx. Lee will be fresh back from recent tours of Australia, North and central America and is certainly stamping his sound on dance floors across the globe. With a number of releases lined up for this year already, Lee is certain to turn some heads once he drops his new sound that he has been curating in recent months.

Also joining the main room line up is Source legend and peoples favorite Rob Cockerton and warming up proceedings will be Bedlam’s Alex Kilby.

In the courtyard once again we will be treated to a full onslaught of back to back business from Tom Jobson & Harry Luderman, Charlie Brennan & Rashid Khan, Ross Walker & Mitchell Stevens as well as Luke Wood kicking off the proceedings.

Once again crowd pleasing maestro Johnny Mikes brings his infamous Johnny's Disco to room 3. Anyone that has had the pleasure of listening to any of his performance upstairs in January knows to expect the unexpected - 70's, 80's and 90's disco jams, blended seamlessly into garage classics, hip hop anthem's, Reggae bangers and anything in-between.

We have taken all the feedback on board from the last event and will this time be limiting the capacity further to allow you all chance to enjoy the main act comfortably. however due this we have had to increase the final ticket tier price slightly, we hope you understand!
