Having recently released their much acclaimed, brilliant new album ‘The Good Youth’, completed a sold out (and mostly upgraded) UK headline tour and had last single ‘Sometimes’ be placed on both the Radio 1 and XFM play lists, BLITZ KIDS will be releasing their new single ‘On My Own’ on March 31st. ‘On My Own’ is the sound of a band reborn with focus, melody, aggression and HUGE ambition. Producer John Feldmann has brought out the absolute best of the band, bringing their high octane and energetic live sound onto record, with the result being their strongest material to date.



As the band explain: “This song is about being at rock bottom. It's a place we've all experienced as a band, and I'm sure many others have too. It's basically saying that if you look to the right places, you can find a way out. Help and a solution is always closer than you think. So put down the bottle and call a friend!”



Live wise, BLITZ KIDS will be spending Feb/March touring Europe with All Time Low and have already been confirmed on a number of 2014 festivals including Sonisphere, Groezrock (in Belgium) and Takedown Festival, with many more confirmed but not announced. BLITZ KIDS can also now announce a UK headline tour in April, as well as a main support slot with Canterbury just before.



Previously, the band played last year’s SXSW, have recently undertaken UK and European tours with the likes of Lower Than Atlantis, Young Guns, Tonight Alive, Kids In Glass Houses, Mayday Parade, Mallory Knox and Canterbury among others. They have also played the UK’s biggest and most prestigious festivals, such as Download, Sonisphere, Slam Dunk and Hevy.
