Streebeck are a band... but this wasn't always the case. Formed in Bournemouth, on the south coast of England, by songwriter Lawrence Mackrell; Streebeck has now evolved from a solo singer-songwriter into a dynamic five piece band conveying “raw lyrical emotion against the backdrop of warm melodies”. Comparisons have been drawn to bands as diverse as The Lemonheads, Wilco, Death Cab For Cutie, The Replacements and Whiskeytown, but Streebeck combine all of their influences to create melodic country-tinged indie pop.
