About this Event

“In our region, Russian militaries are trying to cut some territories we live in. We can see men with shotguns out there. People are dying. Roads are blocked.”

Originally planned for March they have re-arranged their London date and tickets are now available. The new date is:

14th May @ Surya, London

UK shows planned for March have been postponed until May, while the band focus on the situation at home – a struggle that is massively important to them and the people around them, manning the barricades as above, and flying the flag in the face of injustice. They are reminding us that things can still break down and do break down - with horrific consequences.

The band are eager to bring their new record ‘Latitude and 023’ to the UK with this tour, especially to highlight the importance of what they are going through now – what if you looked outside your window to see an army firing weapons, killing those around you, your community and people you love?

‘Latitude and 023’ reflects this. Recorded in Prague, the EP has been post-produced in Los Angeles by Dan Leffler (Muse/Red Hot Chilli Peppers/U2). For the artwork they employed he talents of legendary designer Storm Thorgerson. The records release has also been pushed back to May in line with their UK dates, which include a showcase at Brighton’s Great Escape festival.

Echo Trails

Echo Trails - 'All About the Cloudless Skies' Single live launch gig [out 5th May]. Download codes for a free secret track will be handed out on the night to those on the event page. Sign up here!

Echo Trails are a five piece genre-bridging band who have had an exciting impact and enthused response in their relatively short existence. They create a sound which cleverly fuses together each of the member’s individual and eclectic influences; combining the familiar melodic elements of folk, gypsy, blues and jazz, along with the stranger worlds of psychedelia, Prog-Rock, Avant-garde, and free improvisation, creating an intriguing and eccentric off-kilter sound. The improvisatory nature of live shows ensures you never quite know what you are going to hear next.

Now based in north London, the band is releasing its debut album - 'Ode to the Familiar Strangers' on 2nd June, capturing their live sound which has been refined over the past two years through regular live shows. A tour in Greece this summer is set to follow.
