THUMPERS



2013 saw THUMPERS release their first three magnificent singles, tour with Everything Everything, CHVRCHES and sign to Sub Pop in North America for their debut album. Additionally, they played over 15 festivals including Reading & Leeds, performed live sessions for Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and 6Music’s Lauren Laverne as well as being playlisted on Radio 1’s Introducing.



This year looks to be no less exciting, already tipped by the likes of VEVO, Transmitter, The Line of Best Fit, Independent on Sunday, Fake DIY and Amazing Radio, the duo now confirm their next single ‘Galore’ will be released on 24th February through True Say Recordings.







Written on the lyrical theme of exploratory, guilt-free hedonism, the single’s lush atmosphere is heightened with field recordings from London, Warwickshire and Petra, Jordan collected over a yearlong period. David Kosten once again lent his additional production and mixing talents to bring the final version to life. ‘Galore’ is an exclusive to the UK album release and full details of their forthcoming debut LP will be announced later this month.



Premiered by Radio 1’s Phil & Alice last night - as well as being chosen as their Record of the Week – ‘Galore’ is another slice of the colourful, exuberant alt-pop that THUMPERS are becoming known for.
