Eponymous label and producer collective Chopstick Dubplate aka Jacky Murda, Tuffist, and Aries, are the original international junglist sound from Brooklyn, Birmingham, London and Barcelona. Chopstick works with the biggest international singers and deejays to make the freshest jungle to mash up the dance, featuring Demolition Man, Jah Mason, Top Cat, General Levy, David Boomah, Johnny Osbourne, Tenor Fly, Daddy Freddy, Buggsy, Soom T, Turbulence and many more. Producing classic tunes voicing from the original reggae artists, Chopstick Dubplate kick-started the ragga jungle revival, releasing a string of influential 10 inches and several full length LP's. Recent released include likes of Nanci & Phoebe's "Notorious", Congo Natty's "Get Ready", and General Levy's "Pon di Riddim" , heard everywhere where jungle is played, join the multitude of custom specials that nobody else can play.. Jam Jah Sound is a reggae soundsystem associated to the Friendly Fire Music crew, playing a tight selection of roots, reggae, dancehall, and a smidgeon of Reggae Dubstep and Jungle, with live MCs from the Friendly Fire family and live percussion by the one Bongo Damo.For the last five hundred and something Mondays, Jam Jah Sound has been running every week inna Moseley Town, at the Bull's Head, Moseley Birmingham, the best way to end the week or start a new one.
