Helpful staff, good food,clean, shame one small section of handrail broken. The prices were ok for London, I would use it again if in that part of London

Must have been the rudest manager I have ever encountered. Twice were told that the kitchen was closed to still have good being served to others. End of the night the manager was insulting considering the money spent. AVOID AT ALL COST

Absolutely dreadful customer service received last night. The staff and especially the manager were unbelieveably rude and gave extremely poor customer service. All three staff, plus the manager, were incompetent and sooooooo rude! In general it took 20mins to get a drink and it really was not busy enough for it to be taking that long. As for service with a smile or manners forget it! You were lucky to just be served. The staff had no clue who was next in line, when you did g...et served the staff were putting the drinks no where near the customer they were serving and then would tell the customer "your drinks are down there" expecting the customer to move down a packed bar to collect them. The staff were not knowledgeable of what drinks they were selling. The staff moved with no sense of urgency or apology for how utterly crap they were. The kitchen was being closed and reopened throughout the night and the staff were heard to tell many customers "what do you want me to do about it". I shall tell you what you need to do about it.... 1) Take the menus off the tables if you are not serving food 2) Get a manager that can cope with dealing with customers, a busy environment and can lead a team and teach them that service should be with a smile and done without confrontation. 3) Rota on more than four staff!!! ( central London on a bank holiday is bound to be busy. I shall be writing to head office about this experience!
