Never a bad night in Dukes. Although the door staff seem to pick and choose who pays an entrance fee at times! Great food, good selection of drinks and overall great staff.

Went here on Saturday night as advised it was dog friendly. Went in, ordered a drink, husband went to the loo, dogs greeted him when he came back as if he'd been away for hours as dogs tend to do. Manager came over and told us our dogs were scaring the customers and we had to drink up and leave. I'm guessing it was the manager that didn't like/was scared of the dogs as all the customers came over to see them when they came in. Dogs periodically make noises, they don't generally sit in complete silence so don't say your dog friendly if you kick out customers when their dogs make a noise! Very disappointing end to what until that point had been a good night out in Dundee.

After returning from the toilet my two big friendly German shepherds greeted me back as if I had been gone for hours. This was deemed unacceptable by the manager as my dogs barking was allegedly frightening his customers and asked us to leave. Even though a high majority of the customers were over petting them and speaking to us about them. Clearly dog friendly means during the day through the week and not for people visiting Dundee on a weekend. Very disappointed how one employee can impact a good weekend, we won't be back.
