Fred's is known throughout Ireland and beyond as one of the liveliest bars in Cork with reasonable prices and an electric atmosphere at weekends.

Freds also has a small 80 capacity venue overhead available for hire.

In the bar they have a wide selection of beers, cocktails and their famous shots such as the Super Fred Special with Absinthe - guaranteed to hit the spot and you can expect to hear Alternative Rock, Indie and Metal interspersed with everything from Ska, Punk and Classic tunes from all eras .

This is reflected in the bars décor which has an old world feel with its slate floor and stone walls which are adorned with live gig posters from around the world.

There are live gigs in the venue and DJ's in the bar at weekends and there is always something going on.
