Far too early should not have turned it on until 9-10am.

Thankfully I experienced this festival with good friends and had a FREE ticket but I definitely will not be doing this LOCAL festival again! I can appreciate that there are procedures one must abide by when securing the event especially with such young kids EVERYWHERE, but the way in which you carried out your security checks and searches was disgusting! 1000s of people forced through 3'3 tents to be searched by maybe 4 people... then just as you finally get to this tent, the... most miserable security woman was waiting to set her sniffer dog onto the crowd, picking people off one by one! TOO many police plus guns... I get you might need to be there but maybe not so alarmingly everywhere that anyone on a wave starts to feel massively on edge... isnt fun!to then have to go through the whole thing again when moving from the shitty messy camp site to the main arena!! I have never in my life been searched 7 times in one day by the same few people with the same NOTHING on me!! It was degrading, a waste of my festival time and completely unnecessary! Ive been to commercial festivals such as bestival when it was based in Isle of White... and even then, was obly searched once on the way in and then had to go through gates with security double checking for alcohol as wasn't allowed in the arena - NOT STRIP SEARCHES!! hopefully the number of complaints this year might help promote change for next years even but I certainly wont be there to find out!! :) Big ups to all performers as you are the only real reason we enjoyed ourselves, actual festival was a money making scheme and actually quite SHIT!! ... NO BINS TOO!! :o Also its one thing to charge £2.50 a coffee and £5 a bacon roll but to charge £3 for a 39p can of energy drink in the campsite whilst blaring shitty pop music out at 7am surrounded by sleeping campers is a JOKE!! Clearly nothing about this festival was festival... no spirit, just give me your money, hand me your drugs and fuck off please hahaha! Not the one!
