One of the greatest clubs in Manchester. Takes ages to get to the bar but drinks are cheap with great music playing on every floor. Great outdoor area recreating a summer feel with beach/sand setting

It has undergone a number of makeovers throughout the years but since the Hacienda closed it's doors it has become the home of dance music in Manchester. Voted best club in the world in 2012 it closed it's doors last year but rumours of a comeback can be heard whispered up and down Ancoats -- edit - it is open again. Personal highlights would be spending my 21st watching Groove Armada over a decade ago and Chemical Brothers a few years back. The sound system is incredible, the lights mind blowing and the crowd love to party.

Shut down now. Shame as it was one of the very few clubs in Manchester that were good. Manchester just get worse and worse every year as more and more clubs shut down. To say this city in the 90s was the place to be it's a crying shame.
