Decked out with rustically dashed interiors, you'll find exposed brickwork walls meeting dark washed woods and tables lit but chunky candles. Falling somewhere between the style of a classic saloon bar out of an American Western and an industrial space, The Gallery feels like a subterranean den of atmospheric drinking and dining. Its rugged physique makes for a cosy set up where you'll find a menu of small and large plates with the cuisine inspired by Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and British cuisines. Dishes like Lamb Koftas, Whisky cured Salmon and Rarebit Croquettes all grace the menu at affordable prices.
At the bar you'll find 10 beers on draft and 30 odd bottle offerings as well as a particular collection of 101 Whiskies. Swill to your heart's content on those or sample some of their finer mixology in their cocktails. There's also a wine list up for grabs.
Hosting events throughout the week, The Gallery truly is something of a local boozer propping up quiz nights, live jazz nights and Vinyl Djing.
