Great pub with friendly staff that like to chat when it's not busy of course

I was looking for a traditional fish and chips which i haven't had for a year as I have been out of the country. Had to go upstairs to the restaurant as the pub was full downstairs. Comfortably decorated but was refused a nice table and chairs as it was reserved. Yeah! They never turned up!! The fish had more batter on than I personally like and was very crisp and not much fish. The peas were crushed with mint I prefer mushy and the chips were very nice but too many. Still it was nice to be back trying out traditional fish and chips but what a price. That’s london and tourism for you!!

A traditional London pub with a wide range of beers, wines and more. Situated close to one to Garden Market. Poplar with visitors. A simple pub menu with most tastes catered for. A pleasant atmosphere with lovely staff to look after you. Worth a visit.
