The Smokehouse

Fabulous food, views over the estuary and lovely relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend this place as the perfect place to have lunch.

Small and excellent venue. I hope to do an album showcase live set with a support act and am confident The Smokehouse is the best place having played there a few times.

I'm not an experienced event organiser, so I was a bit daunted by the prospect of putting on a gig. But the Smokehouse made the whole thing really easy and helped me turn my ideas into a reality. The soundman was brilliant and managed to get three acts (with quite a bit of equipment) sound checked on time. The volunteers doing the bar and the door were excellent. That really took a load off my mind... and allowed me to focus on the gig. Ian was really helpful and very clear about how much money was in the float, what I'd get to keep, etc. I'd recommend the Smokehouse to anyone who wanted to put on a gig, especially something a little bit unusual. The Smokehouse were very willing to discuss my requirements (including PA music and visuals) and went out their way to help make the gig a success.
