Small balcony area for a better view if that's what you want ,looks over a very compact stage area. Generates a very good atmosphere though. Venue doubles up as a club some nights after gig hours.

Best place in UK after the London. Have a nice river and riverside, view, colourful buildings, fabulous pubs, and cathedral. You can walk all city side.

Thekla itself was a lot better than I thought it would be and I actually thought it was a great place for gigs / a night out with your friends. The drink prices were reasonable and about average for Bristol, the bar staff were friendly and welcoming and the whole place overall felt clean and had a good atmosphere.
